Motif Properties is a privately owned commercial property investment and development company based in Brisbane, guided by a strategic rather than opportunistic approach to ownership. We pursue targeted acquisitions and hold high conviction in each one, choosing locations for where demand is heading rather than where it stands today, and properties for what they can become as much as what they already are.
That same discipline shapes how we operate day to day. We are patient, we make considered decisions, and we work with good people we trust, because building for the long term only works if you enjoy the process along the way.
We work across every commercial asset class, industrial, office, retail and specialised property, but what connects them is a high standard of delivery and unwavering desire to build things that last. The Team

We are a small, dedicated team with experience across property investment, development and delivery. That experience shows in how we work, through long-standing relationships with architects, builders and consultants who share our commitment to clarity, precision and enduring quality.
Jon leads the business. He draws on more than 30 years in property investment, with a background in commercial real estate across global agencies. His focus is on identifying the right opportunities, shaping the design direction, and making sure every project reflects our long-term view.
Mike leads delivery. He brings project management experience from tier-one construction environments, having delivered major precinct projects across Brisbane including Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane Airport and Victoria Park. He oversees delivery with a steady hand, keeping every project true to its architectural intent.
